This policy outlines the terms, conditions, and processes related to warranties and services for products purchased from Whiteshell Ltd. By purchasing from us, customers agree to the terms detailed below, ensuring a transparent and mutually beneficial relationship.


General Warranty Policy

  1. Coverage and Applicability

    • The warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by improper usage, external factors, or accidents.
    • Warranty claims are applicable for products specified in the purchase invoice. The warranty period will be calculated based on the purchase date mentioned in the invoice, not external packaging or manufacturer’s information.
  2. Manufacturer’s Warranty Terms

    • Whiteshell Ltd. facilitates warranty claims as per the manufacturer’s policies.
    • For products marked with a “Lifetime Warranty,” coverage applies as long as the specific model is in production. Once production ceases, the warranty is valid for one additional year from the purchase date.
  3. Replacement and Repair Process

    • Repair Priority: Products will be repaired as a first course of action.
    • Replacement Eligibility: If irreparable, the product may be replaced with:
      • The same model, if available.
      • An equivalent or upgraded model (additional costs may apply for upgrades).
    • Refunds: In cases where replacement or repair is not viable, refunds will be processed considering depreciation and usage.
  4. International Warranty

    • Products labeled with “International Warranty” on the invoice can be serviced globally, subject to the availability of authorized service centers.
  5. Customer Data Responsibility

    • Customers are advised to back up all data before submitting a product for servicing. Whiteshell Ltd. is not liable for any data loss during the repair process.

Warranty Void Conditions

The warranty is void under the following circumstances:

  1. Physical Damage

    • Bent, broken, or burned components.
    • Signs of mishandling, including scratches, dents, or liquid spills.
  2. Tampering

    • Removal or damage to warranty seals or serial numbers.
    • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
  3. Misuse and Customer-Induced Damage (CID)

    • Usage of non-recommended accessories.
    • Overclocking or mining-related use of graphics cards.
    • Devices locked due to forgotten passwords or BIOS settings.

Service Policy

  1. Submission Requirements

    • Customers must present the original invoice for warranty claims.
    • Certain products (e.g., printers) must include all accessories, such as cartridges and cables, during submission.
  2. Service Timeline

    • Repair times may vary depending on part availability and the nature of the issue, ranging from 5 to 45 days.
  3. Service Charges

    • Out-of-warranty products are subject to diagnostic and repair fees.
  4. Conditional Receipts

    • Products with potential warranty-void damages will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  5. Transportation Costs

    • Customers bear the costs of transporting products to and from service centers.

Exclusions and Limitations

The following items are not covered:

  1. Excluded Items

    • Free or promotional accessories.
    • Cables, converters, and power adapters.
  2. Display Issues

    • Monitors with fewer than four dead pixels.
    • Physical damage to screens.
  3. Data Loss and Locked Devices

    • Whiteshell Ltd. is not responsible for restoring software or data on locked devices.
  4. Specific Products

    • Printers: Warranty claims require the original cartridge/toner. Ink depletion during testing is non-refundable.
    • Combo Devices: Entire sets (e.g., keyboard and mouse) must be presented.
    • Apple Products: Dual-OS installations or macOS deletion voids the warranty.

Additional Notes

  • Warranty replacements or repairs do not extend the original warranty period.
  • Service fees for non-warranty repairs will be communicated in advance.
  • Claims are subject to manufacturer discretion, and Whiteshell Ltd. does not guarantee outcomes beyond its control.
