Whiteshell Limited is inviting applications for the position of Commercial Manager – Factory (IT Products: SKD/CKD). The incumbent will be responsible for managing the company’s commercial operations with a focus on import management, supplier relations, regulatory compliance, and cost control. Key responsibilities include financial and banking liaison, import and logistics coordination, documentation, import/export procedures, L/C handling, HS Codes, SRO, VAT, customs clearance, and compliance with NBR regulations, along with product costing and effective communication with principals, freight forwarders, and C&F agents.

Job Responsibilities

Commercial Operations

  • Manage all commercial activities of the IT Products Factory (SKD/CKD).
  • Handle import documentation, L/C (Letter of Credit), HS Codes, customs clearance, and NBR compliance.
  • Develop pricing strategies considering CAPEX, OPEX, landed cost, and market trends.
  • Prepare periodic cost and profitability reports for management.

Financial & Banking Liaison

    • Maintain strong professional relationships with banks and financial institutions for all trade and financial matters.
    • Handle end-to-end processes of Letter of Credit (L/C) issuance, amendment, negotiation, acceptance, and settlement.
    • Prepare, verify, and manage all documentation required for L/C opening and payment disbursement.
    • Oversee trade finance instruments, including UPAS, OBU, and other relevant instruments.
    • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners for payment schedules and financial settlements.
    • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Bank, NBR, and other regulatory guidelines on international trade finance.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, supply chain, and accounts) for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
    • Monitor transaction timelines to avoid delays and ensure smooth operations.
    • Prepare regular financial, banking status, and other reports for management and the Board of Directors.

Regulatory Compliance & Licensing

  • Obtain, renew, and ensure the validity of licenses and certificates, including ERC, IRC, Trade License, TIN, VAT, Fire License, and DG goods import license.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all commercial laws and regulatory guidelines.
  • Import & Logistics Management
  • Manage foreign consignments, ensuring timely clearance and delivery via sea, air, or land.
  • Coordinate with CNF agents, freight forwarders, and transport providers for smooth logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping laws and customs regulations.

Liaison & Documentation

  • Maintain effective relationships with government and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and process commercial and financial documents (invoices, bills, and statements) in line with internal and external requirements.

Whiteshell Hi-Tech Industries Ltd. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee the Distribution and Retail Sales of our IT product portfolio, including Public Address (PA) Systems, Conference Systems, Interactive Flat Panels (IFP), LED Video Walls, Kiosks, and Digital Signage, Projectors & Laptops. The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies within the assigned regions to achieve business targets and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Dealer Development

Identify, recruit, and appoint new dealers in the assigned region.

Build and maintain strong, long-term dealer relationships.

Sales Target Achievement

  • Ensure achievement of monthly regional sales targets (e.g., Tk 50–60 lakh).
  • Motivate and push dealers to increase orders every month.

Collections & Credit Control

  • Collect payments from dealers on time.
  • Enforce strict adherence to company credit policies; prevent overdue payments.

Team Supervision

  • Lead, guide, and monitor Area Sales Executives (ASEs).
  • Review weekly reports and provide problem-solving support.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and new product launches.
  • Share customer and dealer insights to improve company offerings.

 Campaign Execution

  • Plan and execute promotions, campaigns, and roadshows within the region.
  • Ensure branding visibility in all dealer, Retailer, & Brand shop outlets.

Reporting

  • Submit weekly sales, collection, and dealer activity reports to the National Sales Head.
  • Clearly highlight problems and propose effective solutions.

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for distribution, retail, SI partners, corporate, and direct sales.
  • Design and execute dealer onboarding programs.
  • Set and monitor daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Prepare action plans with resource allocation and marketing initiatives.

Distribution & Retail Development

  • Expand and strengthen distribution and retail networks.
  • Build long-term relationships with distributors, resellers, and retailers.
  • Ensure product visibility, stock availability, and promotional execution at outlets.

Performance Monitoring & Market Research

  • Track sales and distribution performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, and customer insights.
  • 11.  Ensure POSM (banners, posters, branding) support for outlets.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions, trade shows, and dealer campaigns.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for brand-building initiatives.

Product Knowledge & Training

  • Maintain expertise in PA systems, display solutions (IFP, KIOSK, Video Wall, Signage, Projector and Laptops), surveillance, and related products.
  • Train sales and retail staff on product features and selling techniques.

Sales Targets & Reporting

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and collection targets.
  • Track KPIs, prepare performance reports, and provide insights to management.

Dealer & Market Expansion

  • Identify new market opportunities and recruit new dealers.
  • Provide dealer support through training, product availability, and marketing assistance.

Customer & Dealer Support

  • Resolve delivery, service, or quality issues quickly.
  • Strengthen after-sales support and ensure dealer satisfaction.

Inventory & Financial Management

  • Monitor stock movement, identify slow/dead stock, and take corrective action.
  • Ensure timely collections and effective debt recovery.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and distribution agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Incentives & Dealer Support

  • Implement dealer incentive schemes, loyalty programs, and trade discounts.
  • Ensure consistent brand presence across all retail and digital platforms.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor regional sales teams.
  • Conduct training, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
